Who am I?
This is a question that has been fascinating for a really long time and I made it the topic of doctoral research. All the evidence in the analytic framework and from the scientific world strongly suggest a physicalistic understanding of the 'person' and the world in general. But my hunch is otherwise. I understand that theories are not whims and fancies, but there is space for intuition. Let me explain: one can write sentences (express and share concepts) with the words in one's dictionary(ontology). looking at it another way, isn't it the case that what all can be expressed is limited by the content of the dictionary? Does not our current physicalistic presumptions - mainly created by current day 'scientific' understanding - limit the concepts we can talk about it.
trying to argue for a concept for which there are no words in the dictionary is self-defeating. In such a case should not the first step be to enlarge the dictionary?
